We talked in our last post about the importance of drawing bees to your garden and why you would want and should really do this. All too often we are more intent on keeping these insects away from us mostly because of the fear of being stung. This is one of the major reasons why a lot of people don’t go into diy bee keeping.

Many of us love the thought of being able to walk out our back door and pick some fresh fruit and veggies. How much more fun would it be to take that same walk, but also fill up a jar with some fresh from the hive honey. Yep, just with the turn of a tap you can have your fresh honey from the bee to your table within a few short and safe few minutes.

 

Now this looks easy and it is exciting. This new concept may peak the interest of individuals wanting to start their own bee keeping, but many are saying it can be a little misleading, and not without flaws. Also, it really hasn’t hit the open market yet, and when it does indicators are that it is going to be pricey.

Don’t let this deter you though because you really can become a bee keeper using the methods that have been around for a very long time and they are tried and tested for their success.
